Slight Modification

You know how in my previous post I said that I wasn't going to do a story for the events of Final Fantasy 13-3: Lightning Returns? Well, I've decided to do a story for it after all. There is a moment in Final Fantasy 13-2 that places both Noel and Serah into dream worlds, supposedly happy ones, but in Artz's case, someone will hijack her dream world and make her see what will happen if she fails to stop Caius.

This isn't just a dream, but more like a vision of the future. The events she will live through are actual events that will transpire should she fail. By the end of it, she knows what she has to do and even worse, she has a terrible choice to make. Now, this will only be hinted at in the sequel, Soul of the Goddess. The events of Lightning Returns will have its own off-shoot and it will be called Shattered Hope. It will most likely be written shortly before I post the final chapters of Soul of the Goddess.

This is a moot point because I'm still working on Star of Hope and it will be a while before I get to the sequels, but I just wanted to put that out there for all those fans of Final Fantasy 13-3: Lightning Returns.

Later dearies,

Artz

It is alive!!!

Hello again! Yes, I am not dead. I just keep forgetting that I have a personal blog. (chuckles nervously) There have been a few changes recently, mainly in what I have been doing. I've created several new blogs for very specific reasons.

Artz's Transcripts

This blog is where I am posting transcripts for all sorts of TV shows and the like. Currently available: Doctor Who Reboot Seasons 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and the specials during these seasons. More transcripts will become available at a later time.

Artz's Cards

This blog is rather straight forward and is where I'm posting the cards I make for Yu-Gi-Oh!. I'll probably make other cards along the way and I'll be adding what I have my Aura deck soon enough. I will also probably end up making TV show specific cards just for fun. Currently posted: Empyreal Grace.

Artz's Galleria

This blog is a companion site for my stories on Fan Fiction. It's basically the place where I post the images that either sparked the concept or is the closest resembling picture to a specific idea. Currently posted: All images and concepts relating to my Final Fantasy II story called Dawn of Twilight. Other images will be added at a later date.

Final Fantasy XIII Transcript

This site is solely dedicated to a single transcript, simply because of how massive the game is along with all the cinematic cut scenes. This is for Final Fantasy XIII. I have scoured the internet looking for a transcript of this game and only found a site with some quotes, but not a complete transcript of the entire game.

That is why I am undertaking the lengthy process of watching the walkthrough on Youtube and painstakingly transcribing it into text. I have even gone so far as to scour Google images to help break up the text but also provide a visual reference for what is going on.

Eventually I will add other things to this site; mainly detailed descriptions of most of the characters, both primary and secondary, detailed descriptions of as many of the locales as possible, and if I can figure out how to do it, add in a music section.

I currently have almost all of Chapter 1 transcribed and should have Chapter 1 completed by tomorrow night if not sooner. This is the main project I am working on at the moment, because as a fan fiction writer myself, I kind of need this transcript sooner rather than later and this site is meant to be a tool for fan fiction writers.

In other news, I will attempt to figure out how to make links to each page so that when a person gets to the end of the page, they can just click the next page button. I'm still learning how to use Blogger so please bear with me as I learn how to be a better blogger.

(frowns) I'm going to shoot John Watson's therapist, because I honestly don't think that a blog is therapeutic at all, but it does help me organize my thoughts better.

Star of Hope

Lady Artz: Hi...again. *ducks behind her computer to hide* I know it's been forever since I lasted posted anything on here, but in my defense, I forgot I had a blog...again. *chuckles nervously* Anyways, a lot of things have changed since the last time I posted.

Hope: That's an understatement. *crossing his arms*

Lady Artz: Hope, go back to fanfiction.net! You belong in my Final Fantasy XIII story called Star of Hope!

Hope: I think I might stick around a while. I mean, I never thought you, of all people, would have a blog. I'm curious.

Lady Artz: Well, it's not like I update regularly or anything. Usually months, if not a year, goes by before I suddenly remember that I have a blog.

Hope: So I've noticed. Your last post was from last year. You do seem to have issues with updating on a regular basis...anywhere in fact.

Lady Artz: Oh shut up, you're just mad because Artz didn't let you stay when you two finally met in Chapter 8!

Hope: *blinks* Oh that, I'm over that. Besides, she needed me to be stronger for all the crazy stuff that's gonna be heading our way soon.

Lady Artz: That's not until Chapter 20!

Hope: Why so long to get to the original plot line of the game?

Lady Artz: Because I wanted to develop and cultivate her relationships and friendships with all the characters including the secondary characters of Nora Estheim, Lebreau, Gadot, Yuj, Maqui, Amodar and Dajh!

Hope: You sort of skipped Serah.

Lady Artz: *blinks* Oh, I did, didn't I? Whoops, my bad. Hey wait a minute! Serah has her own story line in Final Fantasy XIII-2!

Hope: Will you be doing a story for Final Fantasy XIII: Lightning Returns?

Lady Artz: Huh? *stops ranting and calms down* Not really, no. It will be mentioned near the end of the sequel for Star of Hope. It becomes unnecessary after the final events of the sequel.

Hope: *nods* So what is the sequel called?

Lady Artz: I'm thinking about calling it Soul of the Goddess but I'm not fully locked into it. I'll see how I feel once I get to the end of Star of Hope.

Hope: If you get to the end.

Lady Artz: *glares at him* I will finish it! I will, I will!

Hope: I won't hold my breath.

Lady Artz: *screams in frustration*

Hope: Come on, you know I have just reason for believing that you won't make it. You don't update regularly, you have yet to properly finish a story outside of a prequel, and you have to watch Youtube in order to get all the dialogue you need from the cinematic cut scenes because you can't find a guide that includes the dialogue nor a transcript for the game.

Lady Artz: *shoulders slump* All valid points, my friend, but a part of me really wants to finish this story and dive into its sequel which is so much more delectably twisted because of all the paradoxes.

Hope: *sighs heavily* Alright. Since it honestly means that much to you, I suppose I will just have to support you.

Lady Artz: *eyes sparkle with happiness* Thanks Hope! You're the best! *hug tackles him*

Hope: *groans slightly* I really need a vacation.

Blimey

Hey everyone!

Yes, yes, I am still alive. It's been forever since I posted on here...simply because I forgot that I even had a blog. *sweat drop* Okay, where to start? A lot has happened since my last post and I'm at a loss of where to actually begin. Hmm...*has her thinking face on* Aha! *snaps her fingers*

I'll start with some of my more recent developments, namely my new friend. Well new to all of you that is. His name is Matthew Cortes and I have been co-authoring several stories with him. He has this OC, original character, called Serenity or Ren for short. Quite commonly, Ren and my OC, Artz which is short for Artimes and German for Doctor, are either sisters or best friends. Thus far we have three out of four stories published on my Fan Fiction profile.

The first is The Jumper Chronicles. This story is known as a jumper fic because the main character, Artz, jumps throughout time and space. You guessed it, this is a Doctor Who story. There is currently four chapters and prologue up for it, but our PM thread, private messaging, is around sixty pages with over three thousand posts...and not all of them are short. Some of them are ridiculously long and use all eight thousand characters.

The second is yet another Doctor Who story and is also a jumper fic, but this time with a twist. It is called The Hearts of Time and it is about two sisters who jump randomly throughout the Doctor's entire timeline. I only have one chapter up for it right now, but the PM thread is up around thirty to forty pages. Each sister has their own problems and their own secrets. Many of them are dragged into the light of day after certain traumatic events have occurred. Still a good read though.

The third, oddly enough, takes place in the world of Supernatural and it is called The Enochian Prophecy. Again, it is sisters, but here's the kicker: there is an accelerated romance between Ren and Sam, but a slow burn romance between Artz and Dean. Two very different elements and is somewhat challenging to do. Only one chapter is up for it, but it gets very crazy later on down the road. There will be at least two other OC's, Captain Benedict Strathem (pronounced Stra-tem) and Lt. Erin Fenaqua. They are archangels and the leader and second in command of the Celestial Guard. Also the sisters will have ties to both Azazel and Lucifer, but the rest is spoilers. *winks*

Matt and I are working on a third Doctor Who story called Storms of Life. Ren and Artz are not Whovians in this one, but Timeladies. Artz Lanaria known as the Paladin and Ren Lanaria known as the Knight. We haven't gotten that far into it, but it definitely looks promising.

I'm working on two other stories with Ren and Artz as the main leads. One is a Merlin story and the other is a Sherlock story. Still trying to work out the kinks, but I'm getting there, slowly but surely.

In other news, I have recently fallen in love with an anime series called Black Butler and have a story beating away at my brain, trying to get out. I am uncertain as to what it will be called, but it will have a fan of Black Butler being sent into the past and being saved by the archangel, Benedict Strathem. She will somehow have a deep connection to Sebastian, Ciel's demonic butler, and I'm toying with the idea about her being Ciel's older sister. Still uncertain as to how to properly start it, but I'll figure it out eventually.

What's weird is that I actually have a Once Upon A Time story trying to form in my head. It would be directly after the events of Season Four. I have no idea what it will be called, but it will have Artz and Benedict with brief mentions of Ren.

I have recently discovered a game called Legend Knight that does not ramp up the CPU usage on my mini laptop, but it is a royal pain when you can't get recharge balens because you're broke and without a job. Still, it's a lovely game to play. Not much in the way of a story line, but it does keep one busy at least for a little while.

I'm going to shoot Watson's therapist because a personal blog is a lousy therapeutic technique. Especially when no one reads or views said blog in the first place. *grumbles* I think that about covers it for now. *sighs heavily* My brain is mush and the heat isn't helping either. Laters! *disappears with a fluttering of wings*

SC / TCC / D&L and a Little Ranting

I have decided to post Sparkling Crimson and The Carmine Conundrum here on my blog. You can find it on a separate page and I'll try to keep it updated as best as possible. In other news, Darkness and Light was actually accepted into a community on Fan Fiction. Communities consist of other authors and if they choose a story they like and the staff of the community agree on it then that story is placed within their community so people can find it more easily and it generates a lot more traffic for the story which in turn provides the author with a greater range of readers and possible reviewers.

Not sure what I am ranting about today. I just know that I'm tired. There was a good story on FF called Life of a Consulting Detective and it was a Sherlock/Reader pairing. Basically that means, you stick your own name in there and it's like you're in the story. It's actually quite good.

I managed to get another chapter of Deduction and Deception out. I also had to Google French recently because I got a review from a someone called French Invasion and it was entirely in French. I posted a new chapter just so I could answer them since they were a guest reviewer, meaning no FF profile, and I responded in French. I believe that it is only polite to respond in the same language as the review so they don't have to hunt up Google looking for a translator.

In other other news, I have decided to do a small drabble series, chapters are between 500 to 1k words roughly, called Redemption. It will be based in the Darkness and Light verse and it will show what Artimes's and Khan's somewhat close future will be like and what they will become one day. I wouldn't say it is romantic, though it might become that at some point.

Okay enough of my rambling. See you around the galaxy, cats!

Themes Galore

Hey everyone!

Okay, this post is going to talk a lot about music, mainly themes and scores. We're starting off with one particular soundtrack/score and that is the one for Star Trek and Star Trek: Into Darkness. There was one song that actually inspired Sparkling Crimson, one of my stories on Fan Fiction. It's the bonus track on the Star Trek: Into Darkness soundtrack. It is called The Growl by Conway. Part IV - Lady in Red is where this song really shines because that dance scene in Part IV and V is what the song originally sparked. The story kinda spun itself around it and then grew exponentially into The Carmine Conundrum.

The next song from the same soundtrack is the Star Trek Main Theme which is what you would hear while the OC, original character, Artz is saving the Enterprise in The Carmine Conundrum. The third song from this soundtrack actually inspired a different story altogether. The song was Brigadoom and the story it brought about was Darkness and Light, my first story featuring Khan Noonien Singh as the main male lead character. I also liked the song Labors of Love from the Star Trek 2009 soundtrack. It has inspired some key scenes in a lot of my stories and it is an all around beautiful piece.

Next round of scoring is...you guessed it, the scores for BBC's Sherlock. The music from the series is phenomenal and is the second reason why I fell in love with the series. The first being Benedict Cumberpatch. Absolute favorite song from the scores is The Game Is On from series one. You could hear it playing when Sherlock is raving about four unexplained suicides and is practically dragging John out of the flat to go to the crime scene. *giggles*

Now, you'll be thankful to know that I am not going to list all the songs from the Sherlock scores that I actually like and the stories, chapters, and/or entire scenes they have inspired, so we are moving along to an even larger list because this next set of soundtracks and scores is from the one and only Doctor Who series.

Oh yeah, I will not even begin to list off the innumerable amount of songs from those scores because all of them are fantastic and will literally blow you away. Words Win Wars was absolutely epic in The Pandorica Opens. The Long Song from the episode with the God of Akhaten. *sniffles* Oh and A Turbulent Flight from the The Bells of Saint John. Up the Shard was pretty cool.

Okay, okay. *waves hands in a placating manner* Yes, I am a total Trekkie, Whovian, and Sherlock junkie, but in my defense I also love a lot of movie soundtracks and songs from television series like Yu-Gi-Oh, Fushigi Yuugi, Blue Seed, Inuyasha, Yu Yu Hakusho, The Legend of Legendary Heroes, Charmed, Dark Angel, Supernatural, Angel, Bones, NCIS and the movies featuring the Avengers were simply superb.

Fine, fine. I'll stop ranting for a while if it makes you feel better. *crosses her arms with a huff* I'll see if I can't find some other good songs and such to talk about. Maybe I should just start talking about TV shows. I bet a lot of you didn't know what Dark Angel was. *taps her chin thoughtfully before she grins like the Cheshire cat* I have an idea. Later cats!

Long Time No See

Hey everyone, it's been a while.

I recently became friends with an actual sociopath. Things were going great until one day she completely shut me out. I think the concept of having someone who actually cared was a bit too much for her, but that's okay. I'm still her friend though she is avoiding me with a passion and will probably never speak to me again. She took a lot of my inspiration with her, so I decided to start updating my blog regularly to kinda cope with the absence of my friend who made life ridiculously exciting for a while.

I started a new story called Darkness and Light. It's based in the universe of Star Trek: Into Darkness and is centered around Khan Noonien Singh. Originally, I didn't like Khan in the original Star Trek episode called Space Seed nor did I like it when he returned in the film Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan. It was only when Benedict Cumberpatch, who plays Sherlock Holmes, starred as Khan in the reboot sequel Into Darkness that I fell in love with the character.

Yes, it is ironic that I would love Ben's version of Khan, but hey, it was like I was seeing a badass version of Sherlock. Tall, dark, handsome, and a brilliant intellect go a long way for me. Now the story itself will take place after the events of Into Darkness and begin when Khan is awoken from his cryo sleep by a human woman named Artimes. The longer he spends with her, the more he sees that there is more to humanity than he once thought. She isn't like normal humans and seems to have no qualms with the fact that he has killed people with his bare hands.

In other news and the massive gap between blog posts, I created two prequels for a story called Two Minds, One Heart. The prequels are One Night, from Sherlock's persepective, and One Morning, from Artimes's perspective. Yes, yes, I know that I use the name Artimes a lot. Anyways, I am a little surprised that so many people seemed to enjoy Two Minds, One heart enough to follow it. Over 20 people already!

Also in other Trekkie news, I have created and finished the prequel for the The Carmine Conundrum called Sparkling Crimson. Now this is no ordinary story. It is a Doctor Who / Star Trek: Into Darkness crossover. Yeah, you don't see that mix too often. The Carmine Conundrum is also up as well but it is still in progress.

There is a Sherlock fic inspired by my sociopathic friend and since she didn't tell me I couldn't stop writing it, I am going to continue it. It is called Deduction and Deception and it is about a second crime solving duo with a little romance involved for the Holmes' boys. You are welcome to read it. Most recent chapter is Chapter 9: Piss Off and it is an interesting little chapter in regards to a certain black car.

In my rather depressed state, I have managed to write up several chapters for Dancing Minds. Will miracles never cease? I hate depression, it's such a waste of time and it makes you tired all the time. I think I'm at the pissed off / I could care less stage. I think friends would help, but who wants to befriend a weirdo like me? Well except for other weirdos and crazy people and sociopaths and why the heck do I draw every last unique or strange person towards me?! Am I some crazy magnet for strangeness?! *face palms* Yeah, if I wasn't crazy before than I am now. Me and my knack for befriending and accepting anyone without prejudice or bias. Well this post turned weird. John's therapist was whacked for suggesting a blog as a therapeutic device.

Okay, I'm shutting up now. Catch you on the flip side, cats.
