Long Time No See

Hey everyone, it's been a while.

I recently became friends with an actual sociopath. Things were going great until one day she completely shut me out. I think the concept of having someone who actually cared was a bit too much for her, but that's okay. I'm still her friend though she is avoiding me with a passion and will probably never speak to me again. She took a lot of my inspiration with her, so I decided to start updating my blog regularly to kinda cope with the absence of my friend who made life ridiculously exciting for a while.

I started a new story called Darkness and Light. It's based in the universe of Star Trek: Into Darkness and is centered around Khan Noonien Singh. Originally, I didn't like Khan in the original Star Trek episode called Space Seed nor did I like it when he returned in the film Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan. It was only when Benedict Cumberpatch, who plays Sherlock Holmes, starred as Khan in the reboot sequel Into Darkness that I fell in love with the character.

Yes, it is ironic that I would love Ben's version of Khan, but hey, it was like I was seeing a badass version of Sherlock. Tall, dark, handsome, and a brilliant intellect go a long way for me. Now the story itself will take place after the events of Into Darkness and begin when Khan is awoken from his cryo sleep by a human woman named Artimes. The longer he spends with her, the more he sees that there is more to humanity than he once thought. She isn't like normal humans and seems to have no qualms with the fact that he has killed people with his bare hands.

In other news and the massive gap between blog posts, I created two prequels for a story called Two Minds, One Heart. The prequels are One Night, from Sherlock's persepective, and One Morning, from Artimes's perspective. Yes, yes, I know that I use the name Artimes a lot. Anyways, I am a little surprised that so many people seemed to enjoy Two Minds, One heart enough to follow it. Over 20 people already!

Also in other Trekkie news, I have created and finished the prequel for the The Carmine Conundrum called Sparkling Crimson. Now this is no ordinary story. It is a Doctor Who / Star Trek: Into Darkness crossover. Yeah, you don't see that mix too often. The Carmine Conundrum is also up as well but it is still in progress.

There is a Sherlock fic inspired by my sociopathic friend and since she didn't tell me I couldn't stop writing it, I am going to continue it. It is called Deduction and Deception and it is about a second crime solving duo with a little romance involved for the Holmes' boys. You are welcome to read it. Most recent chapter is Chapter 9: Piss Off and it is an interesting little chapter in regards to a certain black car.

In my rather depressed state, I have managed to write up several chapters for Dancing Minds. Will miracles never cease? I hate depression, it's such a waste of time and it makes you tired all the time. I think I'm at the pissed off / I could care less stage. I think friends would help, but who wants to befriend a weirdo like me? Well except for other weirdos and crazy people and sociopaths and why the heck do I draw every last unique or strange person towards me?! Am I some crazy magnet for strangeness?! *face palms* Yeah, if I wasn't crazy before than I am now. Me and my knack for befriending and accepting anyone without prejudice or bias. Well this post turned weird. John's therapist was whacked for suggesting a blog as a therapeutic device.

Okay, I'm shutting up now. Catch you on the flip side, cats.
